This setting gives children the space to learn to interact with peers and adults through positive social interactions that help develop essential skills like sharing, cooperation, empathy and risk taking.
Indoor & Outdoor Classrooms
Every class has a dedicated indoor and outdoor classroom allowing for flexibility and movement between spaces.
Our classrooms are thoughtfully prepared, beautiful learning environments that change seasonally & based on the interests of the children. Our sunlit and bright classrooms are filled with engaging materials that can be explored freely and at each child’s pace.
Our teachers set up intentional play activities that meet the needs of individual students, organizing the classrooms so children have the opportunity to develop in areas of social/emotional, language and literacy, math, science, creative arts, and fine and gross motor skills.
Outdoor Spaces
We all know the power of the outdoors and at Castlewood Community Preschool & Kindergarten our students have so many opportunities to get outside, play and explore on our beautiful 5-acre campus.
