Kindergarten at Castlewood

Our Kindergarten Classroom is opening for the 2026-2027 school year.

Our kindergarten program is dedicated to nurturing the whole child—socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually—through a balanced approach that combines play-based experiences and hands-on learning. We create a safe, joyful environment where curiosity, creativity, and discovery thrive, encouraging children to explore their world and develop critical thinking skills. Emphasizing inclusivity and diversity, we celebrate each child’s unique background and abilities, fostering respect, empathy, and a strong sense of community. Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to align with Colorado state standards, ensuring that each child meets key developmental milestones while honoring their individual growth. We believe in partnering closely with families to support each child’s progress, recognizing that collaboration between home and school enriches the learning experience. We build strong partnerships with families to collaboratively support each child’s development and act as a family support resource, connecting them with community services and early childhood resources as needed.
